Following on from the amazing resonce to the Barefoot shoe movement, Merrell have produced the Vibram soled True Glove!
This has similar attributes to current barefooting shoes but with the Merrell twist.

The True glove is our minimalist 'all-terrain' adventure shoe. It cuts mass while keeping the essentials to let your feet hike free and easy. An very light weight upper with a stabilizing rubber foot sling tucks into the Vibram® sole under foot for pointy rock and tree stump protection.

• Merrell Omni-Fit™ lacing system provides a precise, glove-like fit
• Fused rubber toe bumper provides ultimate durability
• Rubber rear foot sling provides stability
• Non-removable microfiber footbed treated with Aegis® antimicrobial solution resists odor

MIDSOLE/OUTSOLE
• 4mm compression molded EVA midsole cushions
• 1mm forefoot shock absorption plate maintains forefoot flexibility and protects the foot by distributing pressure
• 0mm ball to heel drop keeps you connected to your terrain
• Wash as needed in cold water, gentle cycle and air dry
